Vicoart users can delete their account directly from the Vicoart mobile application or request assistance with account deletion using the contact information below.
To delete your account from the Vicoart mobile application:
Delete Account requests deletion of your authenticated Vicoart account. After remote deletion is confirmed, the app automatically cleans up the recorded account’s local projects and durable media in the applicable workspace on this device and clears the local session. It does not erase every account’s data on the device.
Original photographs stored independently in your device’s photo gallery are preserved.
If you no longer have access to the application or cannot use the in-app deletion function, you can request account deletion by contacting:
privacy@vicoart.com
Please contact us using the email address associated with your Vicoart account so that we can identify and appropriately handle your request.
For security and privacy reasons, Vicoart may need to verify that the request relates to the account you are asking us to delete.
When the applicable account-deletion and local-cleanup steps complete, Vicoart is designed to remove:
Projects are stored locally, without cloud project synchronisation. Deleting an account remotely does not itself erase files on an inaccessible device or another device.
Account deletion does not delete:
Account deletion preserves projects associated with other accounts on the same device, unassigned legacy projects and their original media, and previously retained legacy workspaces.
Deleting an imported legacy project copy does not delete its unassigned source.
Historical temporary files whose account ownership cannot be established may remain subject to local cleanup processes. Interrupted cleanup may leave files pending recovery; immediate physical removal of every file is not guaranteed.
Temporary processing information may also be subject to the retention and deletion practices described in the Vicoart Privacy Policy.
If the remote deletion result is uncertain, the app may offer explicitly confirmed local cleanup for a known account target. Local cleanup alone does not confirm remote account deletion.
If an older interrupted deletion has no identifiable account target, the app may offer an explicit option to retain the unidentified data in quarantine and sign out. This preserves the old workspace and unresolved deletion record.
Later accounts cannot access that retained workspace through normal project screens, and importing its legacy projects is disabled.
The current app provides no restore, export or device-wide erase action for that retained workspace.
